My favorite scientist. I knew you were taking about Nicola Tesla, even before you finished his discography. A true genius. Screw Thomas Edison.

are you native Croatian how do you know details that you talked about and how do you know that it is true. Teslas father was Rev. Orthodox Priest and Tesla was fine as Serbian Orthodox Christian in my opinion I would make many corrections on this video but it would be to long work maybe for next time...All I have to ask you is. When Texas is going to become Mexico in your opinion?

as a coratian ( i am born in zagreb ) i can tell you that the genocide on kosovo albanians is a big lie , there where no concentration camps like the nato has claimed .
i am not a big friend of the serbs ( god knows that ) but i have to say that in case of the kosovo the serbs are 100% right , kosovo was central part of serbia for about 700 years aprox.

Thanks for the Tesla.
When it comes to your historic
explanations about creation
of Yugoslavia plenty in precisions
and for wars in Ex Yugoslavia
(excuse me)it is just huge pile
of CRAP USA propaganda which I stopped
to listen.I'm so fed up listening people explain things they know nothing about!
And you are just another one...
Magic force of meritocracy

he was not an ethnic serbian, he was born in a mixed family, but i must say that you got the picture pretty well (on balkans). I survived that war and i can tell you that there were criminals and scum on both sides but Serbia (politicians) i will not say whole population, wanted to dominate the whole region (they are a small nation who has complex of a great one ) the problem today is that (west) wants to put a tab on every nation(on balkans) for mutual crimes and that is simply not true...

Btw, some will probably say that "God" will protect you from the Federal Gov't. But personally, I don't think there's much He can do right now, that is, if He even exists -- which I don't think He does. But that's just my humble opinion. And anyway, I think our Gov't is much much much too massive and way too fucked up, even for an omnipotent sky-daddy to fix at this point. If I were Him, I'd move to another Universe...

Is there anything fundamentally electrical that Tesla didn't invent or think about? I'm certain there's a few things. But he was definitely the electrical engineer's electrical engineer -- still is. What a fascinating mind, creative force, altruist, and idealist he was.
Also, that was an excellent history lesson and you related it all very well. I especially liked the analogy of the house in suburbia, HOAs, and the like to geo-politics towards the end.

Tesla, the most screwed man in history
I might add for those who are interested, to look back further into the history of that area. I've found the area has remained unstable in some way or another pretty much since when the Romans gave the land to the goths, who were pushed into it by the invading mongols...or if you want to look at how the present problems began to form, look at its situation just after WWII, the allies pretty much abadoned the area after local militias/bands, had mounted a very succesful guerilla operation.

I did cover the post WW2 activities in my summary of Marshall Tito's reign, in case you missed that. Yes, though, previous to the 1914 incident all throughout history, people of unwanted stock have been herded into the otherwise useless hills within the Balkan region and kept there isolated. Naturally that led to infighting and some shouts about who actually owns it, and ultimately one modern nation to come in and take over.
Unfortunately for the Archduke, he was up for promotion at the time.
