The videoclip is of (1) the song "Someone To Watch Over Me ", music by George Gershwin, lyrics by Ira Gershwin, sung by Vasi Laurence, soprano, with Eric Jennings, piano accompanist and (2) the song "All the Things You Are", music by Jerome Kern, lyrics by Oscar Hamerstein II, sung by Vasi Laurence, soprano, with Eric Jennings, piano accompanist. On 6/5/2007, there was a Festal Concert with lots of music and songs commemorating the 25th anniversary of the ordination of (The Rev. Dr.) Rayner W. Hesse, Jr., Pastor, affectionately called "Rusty." St. John's Episcopal Church is a charming growing small church with unusual services, including "dialogue sermons" led by Dr. Hesse. The compelling services also feature an eclectic mix of songs and hymns, sung by the choir and led by the music director, Eric Jennings. Contact Frank Sisco at ideasmoney@aol.com for more info, and visit www.VideoVoom.com (under "Places" click "Churches" to go to the storyboard webpages of many services.) Also, email Frank to be added to the church's list for both postal mail and email of church notices of events and activities.
