The Welsh Marches Express at Chepstow & Gloucester 16.05.2009

We went to Chepstow to try to video the engines from the castle but to many trees so settled on the station, they gave a good display of smoke and steam blasting leaves of the trees as they tore thru.It was lucky it was 10mins late as a heavy passing shower had stopped just before they came thru.Then on to Gloucester just in time to catch them manouvering to be serviced.videoed them rejoining with carriages, unfortunatley HST got in way when they backed into station (Blooming rail works) .Finally captured departing for Tyseley. Half way thru video we just caught sight of Air Ambulance coming into land. So in the end we actually saw 3 castles. lol.

Lol the irony: "All our stations are no smoking areas...Please do not smoke until you have left the station premise" ~ As a double header rolls past, billowing smoke across the platforms!

Thanks for comment,we were lucky at Chepstow as it just stopped raining as the train passed through. then it was a hasty drive to catch them at Gloucester
