I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure they aren't really singing, because I heard this about a thousand times, and it's EXCACTLY the same as the recorded version, I'm not saying it's a bad thing, when you're tired and you have to dance like crazy you CAN'T sing! Maybe now they can, but they obviously couldn't... because it ISN'T sung live, seriously...

They have headset microphones on, and they're dancing like crazy. Of course they're not holding microphones in their hands.

You can hear the discrepancy in their volume and play it with the studio version, and you can definitely tell the difference.

They're amazing- SM Entertainment puts their trainees through an intense vocal and dance training- all their gasoos can sing live just as well as their recordings.

They're not singing, it's so obvious, they're not even holding microphones and their expressions aren't natural. JunSu and Jae Joong are very natural when they're singing live.

 At that time, I guess they weren't really stable in their singing but they've improved a lot now, you seldom see them lip synching~ :P

well their live voices must be good because they were originally suppose to be an acapella group ^^ plus when you see videos like watch?v=E15llFEPcnA about 0:35-0:40ish or watch?v=BwVGwMPEwEU around 1:40-1:58ish you can tell that they can sing live :)

they aren't lipsycning- they're really good singers and they happen to have the ability to sing live just as well as their studio version is.
