Each day (since 4 Jan 2010) I've spent an hour teaching myself concertina. I post a progress report in YouTube every two weeks. The song I sing here, accompanying on concertina, is Colin Dryden's 'Factory Lad', wistfully describing industrial work life. In the 70s I was one of the technicians doing shift work in mechanical automatic telephone exchanges in Wellington, New Zealand, so the song has always been meaningful to me. If you've done hard, boring work, you'll know what I mean.
