If they were let loose to run, chasing livesock, the dog owners are to blame. This is how it works. Once the dogs passed onto private property they are at risk of being shot.

Seriously people saying this is animal cruelty are stupid. He didn't just decide one day hey i am going to kill 5 dogs today that sounds like fun. He shot the dogs protecting his cattle. If me and my neice were outside my house and a dog came charging at me and her i would take the dog out with no sympathy.

@lobo9er It sucks, but thats what sometimes happens. he probably mistook them for dogs that were killing his livestock. If people would learn to leash their dogs and keep them under control, maybe they wouldn't get shot.

It was considered animal cruelty. He did decide to have fun shooting innocent dogs that were on Public property. Never was on his property. Not one was near his cattle. It has been known that this man has shot his gun at innocent people on this public land. Nothing was done then either. I wouldn't blame you a bit if a dog came charging at you to defend yourself. We all would. These dogs were not charging this man or his cattle. They were just something to shoot at while he was drunk.

@voodazz Marksman? No No. The dogs were within 2 - 5 ft from him. Being very friendly. Where not chasing his cattle. Cattle were almost out of sight. They were intensely trained for boar (wild Pig) hunting. Boars are taking over this country like rabits. Boars do a lot of damage to everything and anything.
