Hey everyone...in this video I will show you how easy it is to clone things in adobe photoshop. The trick is is to take pictures without the camera moving...only having the subject move. From there, let the masks on layers take it away.

I give you an almost unnecessary visual aid in this video.

I believe that this is one of those very easy techniques every photoshopper should know. I guess this video can be looked at as a way to practice with masks since it is a mask tutorial in itself.

  • if you do the masks the other way (painting white on black) its a lot faster because you dont need to repeat on all layers. i dont mean to be soliciting, but @IceflowStudios did a tutorial on that just a couple days ago, and personally, I think it works better. (Video title: "Photoshop Disaster: Clone Yourself!")

  • @TheGuyInUrCloset Yeah...lol...I got that a few times already...I totally didn't know he made a video on this a few days ago. Ah wells... coincidences will happen. There are loads of ways to obtain this effect...it's really whatever floats your boat. 8) If the other way works for ya...then go for it. This is just the way I taught myself. Thanks for commenting.

  • I noticed you had an extra button on the explorer window near the close minimize/maximize. What's that for?

  • @TheGuyInUrCloset "Move the window to the next monitor"...I use a program called Display Fusion for my dual monitors.

  • Why not make it easy and apply a full black mask to all except the base and on each one just brush white over where the guy is?

  • @OneCompHelp whatever floats ur boat. 8)
