Wow. Reminds me of the Drum and "Bugle" Corps days of yore.

Does anyone know who wrote the melody to this song? I know the singer Melissa Manchester had a vocal of it in 1979 shortly after the movie was released. This is such a powerful melody and being played by a big band like this is a treat to listen to, thanks for the upload.

There are no trombones in Drum Corps... it is a baritone.
