EMGs suck

@Xxrickibee94xX I just picked up my PHZ's today, and it turns out you DO need to solder the passive HZ series :( I just wasted 90+ only cuz I WANTED solderless pickups
-
Hey as compared to stock squier pickups how are these?
-
@twisted21bassist EMG , usually come with a quick connect cable , this means you dont need to solder them , just attach a few cables together haha
-
what color bass is that?
-
Whats the song that youre slapping, it sounds soo cool :D
-
EMG should put this on their website, instead of the demo they have right now :)
-
As compared to the stock pickups is the sound a lot thicker and deeper? Or how much a difference in terms of its sound does it make?
-
Why would you ruin a perfectly good P-bass with EMGs? TURN BACK WHILE YOU STILL CAN! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!
They sound awesome :) what amp are you using?

@1004yillB Just a small fender combo amp that came with the bass.

@estewarrior1 Yes it's a squire P bass with EMG PHZs. I had my local music store install them, they only charged me 15 dollars so I assume is was an easy installation.

The good sound are the pickups or the strings? I have a P-bass with GHS Boomers and sounds pretty the same

I'm using brand spankin new D'Addario Strings. but the pickups helped a great deal seeing as through it's a Squire affinity bass =P
