The M4 Carbine is a family of firearms tracing its lineage back to earlier carbine versions of the M16, all based on the original AR-15 made by ArmaLite. It is a shorter and lighter version of the M16A2 assault rifle, achieving 80% parts commonality with the M16A2.[1] The M4 has selective fire options including semi-automatic and three-round burst (like the M16A2), while the M4A1 has a "full auto" option in place of the three-round burst.

  • The M4? Preferred? Wrong. It's what the Army is stuck with. Piece. Of. Shit.

  • @TWBurger2 Congratulations.

  • The M4 is derived from the M16 which is derived from the XM-15 of the late1950s. The AR-15 is the civilian model in .223 Remington while the M16/M4 is 5.56 NATO. They are not the same. The M16/M4 suffers from a design defect that throws powder residue into the chamber. It has no gas piston to save weight using direct gas to throw back the bolt. It was originally designed as a light survival rifle and never meant to be a main battle rifle. The HK 416 used by Special Forces is a lot better.

  • @huntdude555 fuck xD

  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR ok... good

  • @FiveTwoSevenTHR ohh well...

  • @DensukeMifune21 They dropped it and went back to the M4 carbine. They still use the SCAR H simply because it fits a role that no other battle rifle can fit as good.
