On Saturday August 22nd the Preston Historical Society sponsored a Preston Town Picnic and Navy Band Concert featuring the U.S. Navy Band Northeast. This "Under A Rainbow" outdoor concert took place on the grounds of the Preston Veterans Memorial School, RT 165 in Preston CT 06365. Featured at the concert was an antique car exhibition, food and display booths, and the music of a great Band. The weather had threatened but except for a few odd drops, it was clear, hot and humid and under multiple rainbows....a very nice night in our rural town of Preston.
