Its been sixty-five years since the first VE Day, when Nazi Germany was defeated in Europe. For the first time, British troops took part in Russias annual military parade in Moscow. Soldiers from the First Battalion the Welsh Guards marched across Red Square, in whats being hailed as a huge political leap forward.

  • It's nice that the Cold War is coming to a close... Yes I know people say it ended in 1989 with the fall of the Berlin wall but think hard enough and there's not that much difference between Russian - British / American relations
