Sorta better than Exteel, for instance, the lock on system is better. Exteel took the bad parts about AC's lock system

by desing If you look how both both the original xbox controler and the dreamcast controlers had a lot of similarities in the double slot department, The online menu had the same access style, both have used to have similar OS operations (the coding).
they are just a lot of unseen similarities until you sit down and look at them both.
the 360 is completely different but the original did have it.

Those "Similarties" you talk of are sololey cosmetic, which were clearly taken over from the Dreamcast, which maybe have to do with the fact that a little rat named Peter moore jumped ship to Microsoft when sega went down and took some ideas with him.
