killed by a drunk driver. The driver got 52 days in jail and a few months later went back out and got yet another DUI....Freaking stupid woman. Did she not learn anything from the life she stole. What is wrong with these people. An innocent 8 year old lost her life and she chose to drink and drive again.....Ugh

I cannot believe the drunk driver was not charged with vehicular manslaughter. What an injustice!!!! So sorry for the loss of Summer, very beautiful young lady <3

OMG WHAT A FUCKEN CUNT!!! She looked sooooo devasted when she got busted but apparently the tears werent for this beautiful little angel but they were tears for herself. Why didnt she go to jail?? I thought USA laws were really strict with D.I.C.'S (your guys D.U.I'S). What happened when she got busted for the second time?? Stupid, stupid selfish bitch!!!

I hope the woman who killed summer is watching this. This is really sad to see a child so small, so full of life to be taken away in the blink of an eye. We can pray that summer is watching over her family from above. god bless this little angel.

She was 8 and in the passengers seat? If she were in the back she would probably still be alive. I didn't have the passengers seat until I was tall enough (10).

I totally agree. It is amazing that driving drunk is not looked at like the crime that it truly is. How sad. Shame on the court system (judge) that literally told this individual that what she did deserved no true punishment. 52 days in jail is nonsense; a slap in the face to Summer and Summer's loved ones.
