Your car is really gorgeous. I hope you post more videos. The Buick's of the 40's are the ultimate classic cars! The 40-42 Buick dashboard is beautifully designed. I love the sound it makes going thru the gears - brings back memories of being a little kid in the 50's watching the grownups driving cars with "standard" transmissions. We had Hudsons - 51 Hornet and 49 Super Six.

I could not agree with you more... I am 50 yrs old and there was always a 1940 Buick Super in the garage. The sound it makes certainly provides character.
This particular car was owned by an individual that did not return from WWII.
In 1970 it had 12,000 miles. In 1993 a full restoration by Lewis Jenkins was completed and it attended Meadowbrook. Hard to believe the restoration is 20 yrs old. I am trying to find information about the original owner.
