sw1000xg Well you've provoked a response! Thin Lizzy without Phil? The list could go on. I am a huge Gotthard fan & thought how can they ever find someone to replace Steve, his voice his presence on stage, everything. This is a GREAT song with a very good singer and I'm so pleased one of my fave bands is carrying on. I've seen Whitesnake recently and as much as I love Coverdale his voice is pretty shot and when I saw Joe Elliott also, very weak & poor. Shame about your view but hey!

The guy seems pretty good and it's all that matters. The whole band obviously loved Steve as a bandmate and a friend and they miss him a lot more than we do. So let's stay out of the "too early" thingy and allow them to move on. Plus Gotthard is also their job - who stops working for 6 months when a colleague passes away ?

@Bouba2004 "Un manque de respect pour Steve..." Moi je fais assez confiance au reste du groupe pour savoir si Steve aurait voulu que le groupe continue ou non. Steve était un chanteur incroyable, et Nic ne peut pas être la "même" personne, mais il prend la relève avec, j'en suis sûr, grand honneur, sans avoir l'intention de nous faire oublier Steve, ou de l'imiter. Si ç'a avait été le bassiste (par exemple) qui était décédé, on en aurait moins parlé et n'aurions rien dit à son remplacement.
