That took 37 seconds to boot from the moment the BIOS output it's garbage onto the screen. Where on earth did you get 90 seconds from?? That's almost 3 times what it actually took! With Windows 7 on that would be even faster, massive kudos for having a 1.6ghz system that quick, I've had P4 systems boot Vista slower than that.

Yeah but my main point was that you said this is slow, it's far from it for a 1.6ghz machine. Windows 7 would boot even quicker.

eh? You're still missing the point, this IS fast, fact. I could tell that just by watching it, I'm guessing you don't use computers all that often then?

ok, what do you want me to tell you? that there are still tons of apps loading in the bg while you expert wanna tell me it's not slow? That Vista never got shipped because it's too slow on this device or do you want me to ask what a computer is?Mate, i had more netbooks in my hands than you will ever see and when it's slow for me than it is slow compared to other netbooks!

no, its not fast. Fast is Intel Core 2 Duo. Atoms are slow.

i can find this laptop for sale for around 699 so i was wanting to know what the stats are not if they still make, that information did nothing to help me, i found the information i was looking for you've been least helpful. good day to you =)
