The sphinx is one of the most famous and celebrated monuments on our planet, so if someone is to destroy "a small bit" of it they have to be absolutelly certain that it is worth it. Another fact is that they are digging in the archeological manner not "transformers" way, since they might destroy important clues by , say, blowing up " a small part"--Otherwise, you are right , however IF remains.

@dokha I went and read that site. It does not disclose what was actually found within the chamber. Another government coverup.
