  • Could u tell the neck width pls?

  • Hi there

...it's about 9,5 cm at the headstock, and 11,5 cm at the neck/body attachment.

  • What is a U8 Touchguitar?

  • @chuckinator13

search for U8 touch guitar 05Ric

  • Nice Playing!!!!!

I used too play the stick but I now play KRAPPY (you know 10-12). I'm on the fence whether to get a stick or a WARR but the WARR has the same 2500-4000 price tag for the type I would like so I'll be playing Krappy's for some time to come. Kevin is going to build me an 8-string fretless stick/upright hybrid very soon

    Cheers!

  • @perboysen Hi Per

I use to play the Stick.....and it has, as you say, it's own sound. The reason I changed to Warr guitar was, that I needed a change after many years. The Stick is a great instrument..easy to play. The Warr is just a different "animal" ;-)..maybe more traditional, as you put it.. I realised that I'm a bassist...perhaps that's why I needed a change.

BTW I really like the way you play your Grand.

  • Wow, such a warm and nice sound! I play a grand Stick and it sounds like... a Stick (not bad tho), but your Warr sounds more like "a Bass and a Guitar". Would you say that is the main point in using a Warr rather than a Chapman Stick? I.e. getting closer to a traditional bass+guitar sound?

  • @Jazzboob Hi There....yes it's inverted 5th on the bass and 4th on the guitar. Standard tuning with the guitar a step lowered.

Yes I'm really messing things up a long the way...not really focused ;-), but I thought there where some light in the dark ha ha ha.......

I'm playing standards too....happy you noticed "....another you". It's so relaxing just to doodle around with those jazz tunes.

    Thanx for the comment.

    cheers
