How do you make the Dokan course look like the one in the video someone else posted? On this cideo it looks white, while on the other video it's colored so you know where you're supposed to go.

You need to obtain the kiosk rom to do that. I hav no idea where they other person got it from.

Then type "narctool c old_baby_gcTex.narc old_baby_gcTex.carc" and press enter. This compresses the narc into a carc.

You can delete the directories and narc files (take care not to delete the carc files).

Now just do the rest of the steps in the video. Swap old_baby_gc.carc for dokan_course.carc, and repack the ROM, and play it.

Now, if you did it right, you should have a textured dokan_course!

And no decent hex editor around for free

@Luigi7496 You don't need NarcExplorer for it.

Use the command "narctool u dokan_course.narc DOKAN" to unpack it.

Then open the file in DOKAN called "course_model.nsbmd" and search for TEX0, when you find it, copy all the data from TEX0 until the end. Paste into your file we created in the last step.

Save the new file as "course_model.nsbtx" in OLDBABYT, and overwrite the existing one.

Now we need to pack the Tex directory. In CMD, type "narctool p OLDBABYT old_baby_gcTex.narc" and press enter. This packs the directory into a narc file.

Press enter. This will unpack the narc file into a directory.

Then, do the same thing, but decompress "old_baby_gcTex.carc" and unpack the resulting narc into OLDBABYT. If the decompression don't work, unpack it manually with NarcExplorer2.

Next, open your hex editor, and open the file in OLDBABYT directory called "course_model.nsbtx". Copy all the data before TEX0 (so BTX0 until TEX0) and paste it into a new file.

Get a hex editor, narctool, and possibly NarcExplorer2.

Go into the Command Prompt (Start -> Run, and type "CMD").

CD to the directory of your ROM, and open the ROM as seen in the video.

Then, in CMD type "cd data\data\course".

Get narctool , your hex editor and NarcExplorer2, and copy them into the Course directory.

Now, type "narctool d dokan_course.carc dokan_course.narc" and press enter. This decompresses the carc file to a narc.

Then type "narctool u dokan_course.narc DOKAN"
