@tripp25 Are any of ur idevices jailbroken? My ATV2 was jailbroken then I restored and it worked all of a sudden. My iPad is still jailbroken and it still cannot mirror, leading me to believe that it may be the jailbreak that is preventing it to mirror, but I may be wrong. All I know is it started working when I removed the jailbreak. I also read online that it may be ur firewall preventing the mirroring. Hope this helps.

@cdecast82 I am having the exact same issue... All software is up to date, i'm using the Apple TV 2 and iPhone 4s... If anyone can lend some advise, please help. thanks,

I have an Iphone 4s on 5.0.1 and I dont have the airplay mirror option. When I double click the home button and scroll to the left, the only options I have is to set it on iphone or Apple TV and that's all. When I select Apple TV it doesn't go to that screen where I can select airplay. Please help.

Well it should come up like I did in my video. U do have to have the new Apple TV though (little black one).

Honestly, like I said, there was some lag. At this point, the game I showed you had no issues with lag, others did, but they were not updated with iOS5 yet. For example Real Racing 2 was made specifically for Airplay Mirroring and it worked flawlessly. There are things to consider:
1. Do you have a good wifi connection?
2. Do you have a lot of machines on your network?
3. Is your Apple TV in an optimal spot for WIFI?
In my opinion Apple TV is worth it for media streaming alone.
