That's good to know that it speeds our wounded back to the help that they deserve. I hope that your unit didn't lose any of it's birds or personnel while over there. How is it for you to work on. and the reason is crashed is that the early computers were crossed, so when the pilot went to comp left it went right, so he went to comp right and it over comped left. and yes this was a very early test flight.

@carbonsnail im an airframer mech on this bird, trust me, its saves more lives in Afghanistan. it can get wounded out at 250 knots, if not faster. all helo platforms have had theyre production crashes and fatalities, more than the 22 actually. i trust this bird 100%.

carbonsnail@LINKROCKZYOU Link you sound like a man with some experience with this aircraft and im sure that your proud of it and its accomplishments. Im sure that you know that the aerospace industry has a tradition of giving it's employees the opportunity of something called a check ride. My brother worked on the project and wasn't to impressed he split when another job came along. One of his buddies who stayed said no worker took the company up on the check ride. Cant say that I blame them.
