Greg Mcleay Arrested for Crossing the Road with his 11yo son

Greg Mcleay was arrested and spent 22 hours in jail, as well as being strip-searched, for crossing the road with his 11 year old son during the APEC summit in Sydney. Mr Mcleay and his son were on their way to get yum cha for lunch when they crossed the road which was apparently going to be used for a motorcade later in the day.

Mr Mcleay's son can be seen at one point on the right of the video, watching his father being arrested.

Can you please tell why they feel the need to get him on the ground and treat him in that manner. It is illogical. They just had to hold him. He was hardly a threat. There were six of them. Is that really necessary? If so they should be embarrassed. They will be when they reflect on their days work. If that was my job I'd have night tremors thinking that's the best I can do. Embarrassing. I'd shake when I picked up my pay and say Yay got away with being incompetent again.

@thebipolarpolarbear .. enforcing the laws more vigorously than others but then there are the cunt cops but so few. well like i said just because the judge said he didnt doesnt mean he didnt i have been a juror and the case was for rape and the only reason he was going to go free was because the chick mixed up the dates of the crime so he was actually proved guilty of committing rape but wasnt convicted because the dates were off by one day im not saying its the same but you see what im saying

@thebipolarpolarbear no thats what the judge said doesnt mean he wasnt the judges opinion was he wasnt but common sense says he was when he was stopping the cops from cuffing him over his glasses. see until we see the full arrest we cant really say anything for or against. where is the reform from this? i dont see any? people need to go after the politicians for causing these issues and having shit laws not the cops who are just paid to enforce them. some cops arent being dicks they are just....

@thebipolarpolarbear no this isnt about whether they should have had the summit here or not but he was resisting then all of a sudden he says its to protect his glasses well if he had of said in the first place please be careful or can you take my glasses or hold them then it would have been different or if he had let them break it then get them for it but he still should've known not to cross if it still wasnt allowed i mean whats the point? go somewhere else? its not urgent so theres no point
