First time on Rollers - DISASTER

I nearly spat my beer out watching this! Middle of room? Too much junk laying all over the injure yourself on when you fall (and you will). Steadying yourself on something that has wheels on! Use a doorway and don't clip in until you get the hang of it. Good luck and keep at it.

Awesome! grab something with even more wheels to steady with. Although I'll admit, I've never used rollers. Glad you posted this. I appreciate someone that can laugh at theirselves. I'm the same way. It gives me more liberty to laugh at someone else.

Just bought some rollers, searching for video tips yours was at the top of the list. And I'm having just the same problems! At least I'm trying it in a doorway, not in the middle of a garage filled with potentially dangerous objects ;)

Can you sprint in a roller? or is it dangerous?
-
When in doubt, hold your trolley.
-
the lycra isnt going to make you go faster
-
really?? you are wearing a fucking helmet??? dude grow a pair
-
Your helmet served its purpose. Premier rouleau de la stupidité de temps à vélo

It like riding a bike for the first time again!

@MrAlexAdamson I started with really plain, simple, clean flat rollers and had no problems
-
hahaha looks a lot like my first time.
I wanted to buy it but I changed my mind - thanks for the video. 5 stars

I hope I didn't change your mind. Rollers are a great training tool. I still ride mine and even recently converted them to free motion rollers. I'll get a video of those in a few weeks.
BUY ROLLERS! They'll do wonders for your riding.

You just started to get into road cycling? MAN you get a nice bike, is it carbon frame?

Yea it's a Specialize Tarmac. Essentially an entry level full carbon bike. I've been riding it for about a year now. It works.

well good luck in the future, even the best riders have to start somewhere, it would be interesting if you put up a vid of yourself in a year from now, just to see how much you improved...

Actually I got the hang of them real quick; that same night as this video in fact. I do have a video of that posted too. Check out my other posted vids.
I can ride no handed fine, but not one footed and no hands at the same time. That's good enough for me. I'm one of the better handling riders because of these.
