Paul Gascoigne inspired a Rangers comeback as they fought back from 1-0 down with four goals in the last 25 minutes. Mark Reilly gave Kilmarnock a half-time lead but in the second half, a Gascoigne penalty equalised after Brian Laudrup had been fouled in the box. Peter van Vossen then split the Killie defence allowing Gascoigne to go round Dragoje Lekovic and give Rangers the lead before he completed the scoring himself. His first deflected in of Laudrup, while his second was a wondergoal, curling the ball in from near the touchline.

  • Gascoigne was amazing

  • Bit harsh than van Vossen is always remembered for the horror miss against C*ltic and branded a dud yet no-one mentions the flashes of brilliance like the goal in this game.

Was never a fan of the three central defenders formation that Walter used at that time though ultimately it proved successful.
