This is the jump that many (especially those 30 who participated ;-) - yours truly included - feel, set the POPS Sequential World Record. That is, only until some time AFTER, we were informed that POPS (Parachutists Over Phorty Society) was still not officially recognizing the Sequential (turning formations into multiple "points") big-way category!! So this is not "official".
This jump still is quite remarkable and notable for several reasons. Most notably: 1. It is a 3-point 30-way, flown via 3 Aircraft in formation, with exiting groups of 10-jumpers a piece from each (which in of itself is a notable feat!) separate aircraft. 2. The exit altitude of this group WAS ONLY 9,800ft AGL!! *(Note the cloud ceiling that can clearly be seen just above the heads of the climbing-out jumpers)
Watch closely, and you can see both of these attributes that went into this truly remarkable jump / feat / accomplishment!! For those of you who think "old farts" can't keep up. YOU try this sometime! ;-)
I can be seen, entering in the outer bottom (approx 6 o'clock) wacker group, in teal blue - with the orange highlighted helmet.
