  • @rengiil777 I just checked wikipedia, and from what it says humans do have a cecum. It's simply the portion of the colon that attaches to the small intestine and the appendix.

  • I remember in 8th grade when we did a dissection on a frog. We were told to be nice the the frog or we would have to write a sorry note to our frog.

We were told that the only blood would be in the heart.

We were told to cut out the digestive system and I started cutting out the liver. Our teacher then said we would see the heart. I saw no heart. I then realized where the heart was when I noticed blood all over my gloves.

    Sorry Mr. Hoppers.

  • @firelog1101 Actually we do not have a cecum. It's actually an appendix.

  • thanks so much! great help! Wish I had watched this before I did the the dissection!

  • Good video's. However, there is a small mistake. The stomach is indeed on the right hand side for the observer, but while locating organs one speaks out of the viewing point of the organism, not the observer. Clear video's though, and also great dissection-skills.

  • Will im not hungry any more

  • I hope this rat dies of age then dissect not klilled

  • Thanks for the video, however humans do infact have a cecum. It is similar to the rat in that it is the part of the large intestine that connects to the ileum of the small intestine. However, the cecum in humans is much less pronounced than in rats.

  • this is disgusting... :(
