Cause there maybe a better card or if the card suddenly didn't work, than it would have to be upgraded (different types exist, the types will have PCI or PCI-E).
The higher line of laptops can also have better graphics by PCMCIA slot (right type is needed). The cpu has limited options, but no doubt can be upgraded.
Many of the other parts are non-standard.

Also, I would turn on the unit and show that the hard drive and memory install did work correctly (using live boot CD).

BW, could you add a list of parts and links to your video. Either below the video or as a screen at the beginning or the end. That way we can go and get it without taking notes. Am I lazy or what? Don't answer that! :P
