Nasrallah said this statement in 1982 amidst the civil-war. Back then all leaders had such statements, eg Walid Junblat wanted a druz state in the Shuf, & Gaegae wanted the partition of Lebanon by declaring a Christian state in " shar2yye ".

Lebanon is for Muslims, Christians, Druze... Lebanon is for all the Lebanese. We will not let this theocratic propagandistic demagogic liar take over Lebanon to fulfill Iranian hegemony in the region.
The fact that he (proclaims) to be anti-Israel doesn't mean we're on his side; in other words, the enemy of your enemy doesn't have to be your friend.
Israeli occupation and aggression must end, but it doesn't mean that this theocrat can turn Lebanon into a Shiite Republic.
