Tojo and Stalin are the worst out of all of them

When monarchy turns into dictatorship, it should be rather called "tyrant."

You understand perfectly !

The Japanese were very poor at that time, because of the big earthquake and the economic crisis of the world. Many high officials knew the risk of the war. I think all the crimes and the misfortunes can be attributed to many young militaries who wanted a war at any expense and in the end, to the imperialist education of the governement. Neverthless, I think always the only person who could have stopped Japan was, in the end, the emperor...

Tojo was responsible for massacres in China, but when he became the Prime Minister, he was always loyal to intentions of Hirohito. In my opinion, the Japanese governement could not any more control young militaries who received an facist education that the governement forced to them and the public opinion which was influenced by false informations of the governement and which wanted finally a war because of the racist discrimination (at that time, it was normal) and the economic sanction...

Even if the Constitution said the emperor Hirohito is the monarch who had right to refuse or to order, in reality, the emperor had no choice because of the pression of the governement. He was expected to accept all the decisions of the Parliament.

The Japanese hate a dictator by their nature and there are very few dictators in the history. Concerning emperor Hirohito, the question is complicated, but in principle, Japan was already a constitutional monarchy. The difference between that time and now is : at that time, the decisions of the Senate had priority over those of the House of representatives.

Hiroshito wasnt a dictator. he is just the monarch.

Stalin was part of Marx prophecy. The dictatorship of the prolaterian mass, and the proletarian mass need a strong leader. Stalin was the man for it, stalin wasnt the problem, he could have been a great king in the past, its the system who just didnt work, unless the entire world is communist, fortunatly its not the case, but capitalisn and globalisation is gradially gonna destroy us, hwat is the solution ??? idk.

@fernirm true, and he knew hw was a dictator, in the past, this tern wasnt negative, in the past, it was better that Monarchy, look the Cromwell in england or Jules Cesar in Rome, Napoleon etc .... Stalin saw himself as the transition beetween the socialist republic and the archaic Russia, so he had no mercy for people who were supporter or a mentality who was gonna die. Stalin was part of Marx prophecy. But marx wasnt a great economist, just an idealist, as Lenin and Stalin.
hirahito was the emperor it was a monarchy not a dictatorship

@phillip549 But Hideki Tojo basically overruled Hirohito, so he is a dictator (Tojo).

@firestarter320 Don't be ridiculous, dictatorship isn't a form of economics or politics, it's when ONE person has ABSOLUTE CONTROL over ALL, and Stalin did have absolute control over the Soviet Union, so he is a dictator by definition and by practice.
