Do it "old skool " style !
Over 20 years ago I took a mountain bike and cycled around Iceland on my own. What a amazing country and people . I had to cross river on my own ! sleep in old sheep houses etc !! Ended up working at Hotel Kea in Akureyri for 6 months (hello to anyone still working there !!)
Imagine...No suspension and old "V" brakes !!!
Iceland is a great place to visit
