  • @metalvenom85 Man that sucks you guys cant use bluegill and sunfish. Here in kentucky you can use common suckers, bluegill, sunfish, warmouth any kind of panfish besides crappie, chubs, goldfish, but we cant fish with bullheads. Always wanted to try bullheads, but its not worth the fine.

  • @koawaconorth Its because they fish in very fast moving water and it helps pull monster flatheads out from under neath cover. In calm water conditions, i dont go over 30# mono

  • @metalvenom85 They only use 80 pound braid because they fish in pretty ruff and fast moving water and it helps pull a giant flat out from underneath brush or stumps and such.Helps keep from losing the fish in heavy cover.

  • 80 pound test!!! you gotta give the fish a little chance. 20 pnd is what i use and i have alot of fun with light tackle

  • great video!!

  • i got a 28 pound flathead on 14 pound test im not to big on line over twenty pound test i like to fight the fish with alot of drag

  • @koawaconorth i learned the hard way thinking my extra heavy 7 foot bass rod and reel would be enough until a 3 flats in a row overpowered the drag and made a noodle out of the rod into a mess of trees. now i use heavy action 7-8' musky rods and 5-7k size reels. plus you cant hardly cast out 6 ounces of weight plus 6 oz of fish with any lighter of a rod. channel catfish you dont really need this stuff, but for flats and blues hell yes you do

  • This is a Great video! Thank You

  • @koawaconorth You obviously have never caught any nice Blues or Flatheads. They are perfect rigs.

  • @AdeSautel09 Actually we do catch channel cats through the ice in the winter in Minnesota. Its a real blast!
