Plus it was made by a white guy, so why wud u want to support it? ESPECIALLY since he manipulated OUR history, he took the bw out of it like they wasnt there wen they was. Thats called DISRESPECT for OUR history. Its kind of like wat they did with egypt. Plus the bm themselves in there are racist against their own.

@MsRoyalTreasure Black folks love to makes excuses after the fact. If we really had ourselves to together, we SHOULD have combined our resources and make this movie ourselves. We have the money to do it (Oprah,TP, Will Smith, Russell Simmons, etc) Then you would have had your black female actors.
But what happened?? We wait on white people to do things for us, then complain after it happens. In the end, we should support the movie for "Real Tuskegee Airmen" they broke cont.

barriers on so many levels. There is no point in crying and critiquing the movie after the fact it's been made. Wanna change the playing field for black women in history? Write to the Black Film Actors Guild and promote the idea of a Bessie Coleman film, blog about it, tweet about it. We need to stop waiting on white people to do stuff for us then complain about afterwards.

Actually why wud they boycott tyler perry? Number one tyler perry supports black men and black women actors by giving them jobs to showcase their talents so thats stupid. And altho he has some negative bm(they do exist), he has VERY good black males in his films also. So again thats a dumb move.

@MsRoyalTreasure Let me explain myself, I never said I boycotted Tyler Perry movies, me personally I'm not into that genre style of black movies. I like House of Payne and that's it, no hate here.
Yes, TP gives black actors jobs but at what cost? In Hollyweird if you are constantly being put into the similar roles, guess what? you become "typecasted". How can a person "showcase their talents" if all they're in is black sitcoms and black cont.
