Ben Ritchie is currently majoring in Honours Pre-Law at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the U.S. and has NCAA Clearinghouse Eligibility Approval, but has not yet committed to play for any team for the 2009 year, despite multiple offers...
Ritchie is, however, open to offers to play for fall 2010..
Although Ritchie played Linebacker & Safety #54 For the 2007 & 2008 Toronto Jr. Argos - The Official Farm Team for the CFL Toronto Argonauts --- Jr Argos still are NCAA D1 eligible,
