The Return of Shim Chung is a New Year's special drama aired in two parts

Synopsis
This drama is a retelling of the classic folk tale of Shim Chung, a girl who moved the hearts of both the gods and the King through her filial piety. Her willingness to sacrifice her life to restore the sight of her blind father was rewarded by the sea god, who saved her from drowning and returned her to land, where she later married the King and was reunited with her father.
