Hola...!!
The Yamaha DTXplorer is awful, though and what are you going about the pads being noisy??? You should listen to the Alesis DM5 with Surge Cymbals; they make the worst racket in the world, and what's wrong with the pads??? I am just trying to say it is a good kit on a BUDGET. Either you don't understand what that means or you just are selfish to other people who cannot afford Roland and Yamaha kits.
Or much worse than you think, the pads = crap, The cymbals = crap (take of your earphones and listen) If i play on my kit you caould hear that in the whole house (2 floors down you can still hear me) the sound is ok, so whats broken on my kit ? The hi hat, the basdrum, some pads, and yeah btw dont do the same misstake as i did, dont buy cheap kits go for roland / yamaha
The Medeli DD506 is better than the Yamaha Dtxplorer. I have personally tried both. The Yamaha's hi-hat pedal is very hard to close and it doesn't sound great but OK. The Medeli has chokeable cymbals and you can play rim shots on the snare drum. It sounds excellent, has more playable drum kits programmed into it (50!) and can do things that other kits for about £450 can't (this kit is £459.99) don't dismiss this kit immeadiately because it is much better than you think.

I would go with the Alesis. I have the DD506, and the sounds are crap.
