This song speaks to victims of abuse in that by banding togeher together with other survivors and their supporters there is hoe to overcome thelittle minds that seekto tear you in twowith shame, blame, condecension and fake concern for the pain and hurt suffered at the hands of the very people who are puton pedestals and are thought to be pillars of thecommuunity. Gene Pitney was underrated as a performer and not given full credit for hisskill as a composer.
