This is a Single Coil Dual Pole Pulse Motor. I made the motor from a used 120 volts AC shaded pole motor. I cut the core to a C shape and the rotor to a Z shape. The contact are better than the first test but I will make them better. In this video it is running on 13.5 volts dc and using about 140 ma. I will post a test 3 video once I have my contact switch and timing better built. Stay tuned for test 3.

Thanks for looking

  • Hi Stefan, thanks for the reply. You are right about the sparking, I noticed that it does charge the cap faster. That is what is going on with the video of me pulsing the neo magnets, it was making a large spark and charging the cap much faster.

  • Hi Luc,

    great test !

Try to get even a better sparking

    with graphite-copper electrodes commutator,

so you will get even faster cap charging.

The secret is all in the Sparking and tuning

it for the right RF bursts..

    Many thanks.

    Regards, Stefan.
