@sugarmaple28 Right on about Gorman and everything else.

Plus Mike Gorman is one of the more professional announcers out there. He sits next to Tom Heinsohn who is anything but non-biased, but Gorman has for the most part always remained pretty fair. Anytime you cover a team for nearly 30 years you are bound to be a bit emotional. I am sure it works that way with every team. As a Celtics fan I always repected longtime laker great play by play man Chick Hearn. Regardless of team.

Man this was an awesome game. Entertaining basketball, regardless of what side you were on,

Who the hell cares what you approve of Mike Gorman. Gawd I hate the Celtics announcers.

@TRJ22487 This was the game that got me watching the Celtics full time. I had been a casual fan since I was 6 years old (92-93 season) but this amazing comeback over the 2 time (eventual 3 time) champion Lakers got me hooked. I was 15 at the time and I've been a diehard fan for the past 9 years since.

lakers got robbed

money in the bank? lol

i remember watching this game live, i was PISSED! Cause kobe got the shot off, and since they didn't have instant review that year it was waived off. That year in 20002 had many bad calls. This one, the charlotte orlando game 3 where baron davis 3 should have counted, and the pacers nets game 5 when reggie's 3 should have been waived off. that's why the next year they put in instant replay
-
thank God they put in instant replay for shots like that
-
Wait a second is that Larry David high fiving the Celtics @ 5:54??? LMAO
antoine walker not only made the sickest bank shot, he simply waved his hands after kobe bryant's final shot and NULLED IT.
employee number 8 was the man.

I have this game on DVD presented by Laker commentators, and it includes a replay angle of Kobe's shot from a baseline camera (not seen here) that clearly shows the ball still touching his fingertips as time expires. Upon seeing that angle the Laker commentators grudgingly admitted that the refs got it right...
