First Battle with CAP Pokemon on Pokemon Platinum!

This is a battle with Thrash0 of the Smogon Shoddy Battle server. We both used the same save and game (aka mine) to show you this.

Ah i figured as much. Also, what are you using for your screenrecordings? This program seems to wanna record everything and leaves your DS area quite small.

Also, the blackish effects seem to look neat.

The program I am using is Camtasia Studio 6, however the resolution was set by me. I originally recorded only the emulator's two screens, but I bumped it up to 1280x720 so Youtube would classify it as an HD video, allowing you to see it better. Of course, I could of streched it out, however, I didnt feel that needed to be done.

Also, I also like the blackish effects. I also got Adobe Photoshop yesterday, so the inserting will go much easier, now that I can edit Pokemon Palletes :D

This was awesome.

I loved seeing all the CAPemons together in battle like that.

ONe thing though, but the attack animations seem...weird. I haven't played Platinum, but are the attack effects supposed to look like that, or is that a result of the rom hacking?

Regardless it looks great. Maybe you can implement all the CaPs one day.

The emulator has difficulty with the effects, it's not the rom hacking that did that.

No$GBA is known for having those little effect errors, mainly due to some sort of "alpha" problem. It doesnt harm the game in any way.

dude can you make a tut how to edit spritesi n battle and overworld sprites? thx.. Or wich programs you need? I want to edit my hero's sprite..

Wow, I had doubts what the CAPs would look ingame, but now I think they look pretty cool.

In any case, how long til its possible to completely insert your pokemon in platinum? Also, Syclant has a minisprite made as well.
