  • what state are you in friend?

  • @MrAnonymus23 use wither hicory or osage orange but hickorys better but you know you could use uh juniper if its sinew backed or oak and much more.

  • @loadedClownZ you could use pione if it were old growth, and you were hard up, good for practicing skills, but you'd really have to make a wide profile, and you'll "upset meteorological weather patterns"... LOL!

  • @MrAnonymus23 pines shit for bows, its very weak, where do you live so i can suggest wood you might have access to in that area.

  • is pine ok?

  • hi im trying to make a one piece recurve bow any sudgestion on the wood?

    P.S. I live in rome so,yeh

  • @BowskinArchery alright, thankyou buddy, cheers. Now i know all i need to know. Your a great help.

  • @loadedClownZ you could get the legs from them and pull them out yourself. tell your dad to check out my website and my videos of me shooting my bows. All made from board staves. some are even solid hickory. some wood like hickory, can brend the rules of bowmaking not needing to follow a ring. mulberry is in the same family as osage, and makes a very nice bow, if you have it, try it! dont forget to season it first.
