UPDATE: Natasha Richardson has died following a fall while on a skiing lesson

A spokeswoman for the ski resort, a favourite with stars and wealthy Americans, said: 'Ms Richardson fell during a ski lesson but she didn't show any signs of injury.

'The ski patrol looked at her and reported that she was laughing and joking. They told her to see someone but she insisted that she was fine and just wanted to go back to her room.

'The instructor and two members of the patrol accompanied her to her hotel room. She refused to see anyone and signed a paper saying she didn't want to see a doctor.

'After an hour or so she said she had a headache, then they called 911. We have the signed form in which she declined medical attention.

'She was not wearing a helmet. The law in Quebec does not require it but we always suggest it but cannot impose it.'

The resort spokesman added: 'There were no signs of impact and no blood, nothing.'

A member of one of Britain's most famous acting dynasties, Richardson was on holiday before co-starring with her mother in a Broadway revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music. Her sister is the actress Joely Richardson.

How the hell i am imposing anything? You my friend, are extremely delusional. You my friend, need to stop trolling on the internet just because you can. @victoriab143 haha, you are clearly not educated in the god debate. God is not a neutral term....obviously there are millions who don't believe in any variation of god. The fact that you impose god into your comments shows you obviously believe in a god, in whatever form or religion and as most believers, then impose it on others in that way. And like most believers, you then don't even realize you imposed your beliefs on others and think nothing of it. You should educate yourself my friend.

What makes you think i am Christian? I could be a member of another religion. There are god's in Islam and Judaism, just to name a few. I'm not imposing anything! It's a simple comment. @victoriab143 No i am not an Atheist...that is the common assumption when someone questions the validity of religion or god...but when you are educated on the facts as i am..u know there are many variations and even when you question them, doesn't mean you believe there is no god...my stance is "i don't know"! None of us "know"...so when people like you, christians in this country constantly impose their beliefs on others by saying "god bless" "god be with you", etc etc, u bring it on urself!
