Based on the Angry Video Game Nerd's popular "You Know What's Bull-Shit" rants, I thought it'd be fun to do a blog where I complain about things that've been bugging me about the entertainment industry. What you think about ESRB ratings are all about? There was none with NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and the Atari! Even Super Nintendo. Near the end of the Super Nintendo era, They came out with these ESERB ratings. First, it was only a parentel warning. Like a filter. Now, "You can't buy this game without parentil consult" Wtf? That grinds my gears! But, what you said there, is tottaly true. Why get rid of the classics for crapsics?

I grew up with the Animaniacs, remember that?

To me that had the greatest recipe for a show; Three mutants with endless humor, two crazed and evil mice, a musical cat and dog, countless & obscure references, two of the sexiest cartoon characters ever drawn for the commercial public and of course, dirty humor. It's so sad that not only they're gone but that they can't come back to TV.

I think the world should stop crying and just take in a joke an excitment.

the FCC have nothing to do whit network edits.

ACTUALLY the season was taken out because the show almost hit the tubes pretty hard so they brought in plan B witch was fast foreward a season earlier than expected. But there was an episode in that "lost season" that they took out for being to gruesom. not violent.

This is because the censors allow more lewd content on the airwaves; thus producers feel they have to find a reason to put that kind of material in their shows to attract viewers as opposed to having good stories with good characters because they think that's what the public really desires, and if they don't jump on the bandwagon they'll end up without a job and a show. Most of the best TV was put out before censors laxed; take Cimmaron Strip. That wouldn't be made today. Too clean, I guess.
