beautiful tune, indeed. i'm thrilled with how he manages to deliver such intense emotions of melancholy and tenderness using mostly noise. that very well confirms the old saying "it's not what you get, but what you do with it".

Tim hecker was the first to introduce me to "noise" based music. He's also the first to create entire soundscapes for me. Also, I don't know why but some of the sounds in this song remind me of dying whales, and the sounds in the background tell their story of sadness...
