If Roland's 20-year-old-and-counting U220/U20/D70 had better converters, I'd bet they could sound exactly like thes.

@DanBurton190 it would be better for you my friend to buy the arturia jupiter 8V, because this jupiter 80 does not superbs or even emulates that fantastic synth of the 80´s, it´s dissapointing to see that the synth side of this jp80 is not what we expected

Jawoll ,da haben wir alle drauf gewartet.
Ich geh schnell in den Laden und leg da 3000 Euronen für hin !
Ein Keyboard auf dem man Viola spielen kann.
Auf einem Entertainer Keyboard noch etwas glaubwürdig, so wirkt es auf so einem Jupiter 80 eher lächerlich . Also ich zumindest frage mich: Was soll das?
Man hätte besser eine geile Synthy Sequenzereinheit reingebaut. Denn Sound ist nicht alles. Paar fette Beats wäre besser gewesen.

I've been waiting for those type of sounds as well. I mean all somebody has to do is dive into a violin patch, change the sample to a 303 lead, and use the violin articulations to modulate filter squelches, boost distortion, add frequency x-modulation, etc.
The Jupiter-80 just launched here in OZ. I am tempted to go into a store to play one, but I purposely avoid music stores so I don't get infected with gear lust.
