As a teenager I watched Dr Zhivago, I was mesmerized by the movie and without knowing it, it was the music scores throughout the movie which moved me in ways I could not explain. Lara's Theme was and is the most haunting Score. It still gives me goose bumps and makes me want to cry. If I ever remarry, I will play this song as my wedding waltz.. Absolutely Beautiful. For those who do not know what I am talking about, watch Dr Zhivago - the movie.

@mpolanetz I agree with you completely. I don't know why it makes me feel sad either. The movie was made in 1965, I think, and I have seen several times over the years.

I have watched this movie over many years and each time I saw and see the depth and tragedy of what happened to a wonderful nation. What a destruction of a nation - what a loss to humanity. My heart and soul cries. The music is haunting as it should be. May mankind aspire to the great and noble - we are all going through difficult times. May our leaders be WISE and GOOD!

@mpolanetz I BOW TO YOU AND SECOND YOUR LOVE OF THE FILM SCORE I LOVED THE FILM AND WAS TOUCHED DEEPLY BY THE STORY AND SCENES ON THE TRANS SIBERIAN RAILROAD. BUT LARA LEAVING IN THE SLEIGH AND THE WIDE OPEN SPACE AFTER THE ICE FROZEN HOUSE . BEAUTIFUL , SO BEAUTIFUL SHE WAS ; AND THE MUSIC MADE HER SEEM SO MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL.
