High Speed Video of beaded chain being jerked up at one end.

This is essentially the same as the a chain fixed at one end and falling. From the frame of reference of the chain, this is exactly the same. Two small differences: 1) There is some friction with the floor. 2) The end attached to the weight does not accelerate upward with the full gravitational acceleration; the Attwood's machine type pulley system will accelerate slower than 9.8 m/s/s.
