  • 2:09 a King Tiger taken out by a Sherman - one shot ... hmmm not entirely realistic

  • @captaindyllanrexs yeah, late in the war some allied tanks appeared with very powerful guns, so it may have happened.

  • @captaindyllanrexs Oops, What I meant to say was: there was infact an article about a super pershing knocking out a king tiger

  • @bombarderoazul There is infact an article about it.

  • @captaindyllanrexs There is no evidence that a king tiger was ever destroyed from a frontal hit, so yeah it's BS. Although there were a few vehicles in ww2that could perhaps have done it, like the russian ISU-152, but they probably never met in combat.

  • ehm mia is langweilig

  • @Dreachon

    Meant Canada, not Canda.

  • @sargon08

That is just one big hunk of junk you posted.

1: Canda never got the M26 pershing nor M36.

2: Given that the pershing didn't combat until february 1945 I fail to see how the Tiger II which saw combat july 1944 was build to counter them.

    3. for an M36 to have a chance to knock out a Tiger II it needed to us a HVAP shell and a lot of luck.

  • @drakenlorde the Panzer VII was the Lowe (Lion), which never went into mass production. The Tiger II was the Pzkpfw VI ausf B. The tiger was the ausf H. and secondly. The Shermans were sent to attack the Tigers and Tiger II's to try to slow down the attack. The Americans were caught off gaurd so they never had time to set up adequate defenses. You are comparing a Medium tank to a Heavy tank. Which isnt fair to for the Americans part

  • @captaindyllanrexs im pretty sure that the Sherman hit the Tiger II on the lower hull( below the main armor plate.
