Dressing up as a ''emo'' ... Listen, its the same expression as saying ''dressing up as a hippie'' or ''brat''.. Etc. Emo used to be something else, but Im not going to get into that conversation. At this point, its a style. a STYLE. NOT a emotional state.

alright from a psychological standpoint, this "illness", is as common as someone who has freckles, or someone who has wisdom teeth or a bad appendix. i think you are a good person for caring. but i mean, i have had bouts of depression and this just made me feel threatended to be the way i am. and also.. people dress how they want regardless of what people think of them. if they dressed up as emos to escape being teased, isnt that sort of a silly assumption?
