  • love the snowy effect :p look at my vid of one of these in cyprus

  • @mattmatt115 Because it is, essentially, a Bell412 painted green. It is an okay helo for hauling ass and trash, but not for combat. It was hilarious when Canadian news outlets reported the Griffon as a "gunship" and that it was escorting CH-46's into LZ's. The Apache can't keep station with a Chinook. The CH-46 pilots must have been pretty stressed that they had to throttle back enough to let the little ol' Griffon's keep up.

  • @bitchesontape No it's a militarized Bell 412 built to Canadian Forces specifications

  • @cf80to01 Why should it not be used in combat?

  • @sirrefttam Absolutely, and it is much more capable. Highly refined through lessons learned in Vietnam and other conflicts and situations.

  • speechless, did you know the griffin was origionally based on the vietnam helis from the 70s???

  • @coltontd there Canadas huey and im Canadian so WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • They look like Huey's.

  • This is a fine helo for hauling ass and trash, but should not be used in combat.

  • I might be getting a ride in one of these soon with RAF cadets!! Went in a chinook last night :-)
